SHS Farm Show Spring Series

Everything you need to know:

Clear Round Jumping and Dressage

All level riders are welcome! This will be a fun, no pressure event. Your instructors will match your current skill to the height that is right for you!

Not jumping? No problem! Trot poles and Raised pole courses will be available!

JUMPING

10/7 register by 10/3

10/28 register by 10/22

11/11 register by 11/5

DRESSAGE

11/18 register by 11/12

What to expect:

Riders will be assigned a division and time 2 days prior to show (check email used on registration).

Riders will be assigned a horse upon arrival of farm.

Riders will prepare horse, help will be available, warm up horse with instructor and take turns jumping a posted course.

Once all riders complete course 1, the course will change, all riders will complete.

A clear round ribbon will be awarded to all riders who complete a course with no knock down, refusal, or run out.

Each rider awarded a point for each clear round – High point awards to be announced at end of series

Dressage:

Rider will be assigned a time 2 days prior

Rider will get horse ready, Warm up with instructor, and have 3 tests videoed by instructor

Instructor will pick best test run, and send in to virtual judge for judging.
Scores will be announced via email once sent from judge.

$50

Additional test to be judged +$30

Attire:

Own helmet, any color
Plain colored polo, tee shirt, long sleeve, or sweatshirt (no graphics etc). Riding shirts if owned
Riding pants preferred (light for dressage), leggings acceptable
Paddock boots or other riding boots
Half chaps and riding vest recommended but not required.
